Remember Me- Calling you Home- Book 2

Jason finds out about his secret child and emotions explode out of him. His relationship couldn't be more fragile with May, than it is now. He's about to learn, it’s not just May's family who knew about little Dolly. Is there no one who didn't know?

My Review

These were two great enjoyable reads . Both are fairly short at 48 pages each so I'm reviewing both in this review.

In Calling You Home Jason learn that his childhood sweetheart has returned after leaving him seven years ago, however Jason moved on with his life and married Abby and they had a baby son. Unfortunately Abby has recently passed away after losing her fight with Cancer. Jason feels mixed emotions at May's return but feels the need to see her so he heads over to parent's place. However when he gets there he learns that she has been keeping a secret from him for the last 7 years.

The book is told from Jason's POV and I liked how we got a dialogue of his thoughts and feeling and the emotions he was struggling with. At times it did seems a little to descriptive but I liked hearing the inter turmoil that Jason felt towards his ex and wife as I felt it helped to connect to his character. It's a fairly short read and I was only just getting into to it when it ended but luckily I had the second part to go straight into.

In the second book Jason is struggling with his feel feeling towards what was revealed in book 1. He is struggling with who to trust and who to talk to.

I enjoyed this second part more than the first and I think it was because you already had Jason's back history and could easily connect with his character . I loved to read about his interaction with his son, it melted my heart.

Again this part was fairly short but it was very well written with a good pace and I look forward to reading where the author takes the story.

*I received an review copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
