Summer Dreaming by Liz Matis

This book is part of a 3 book novella series entitled Hot in the Hamptons where three best friends are planning on spending the summer together before getting married or starting new jobs. I have never read anything by Liz Matis before but after reading this I will be checking out her books.

The story is about Kelsey and Sean. Kelsey is still getting over the death of her dad and is still trying to figure out what to do after the summer. That’s when she meets Sean and there is an instant connect and great chemistry between them. I loved Sean’s character he down to earth and he is planning on joining the marines after the summer. Will their romance be just for the summer or can it last longer?

This novella is well written and there is some great banter between Kelsey and Sean and I loved there story. I know this is only a short story but I would really like more of Kelsey but I could say this about all of the couples in the series.

Overall a great sext, hot short novella.

Summer Temptation by Wendy S Marcus

This book is part of a 3 book novella series entitled Hot in the Hamptons where three best friends are planning on spending the summer together before getting married or starting new jobs. I have never read anything by Wendy S Marcus before but after reading this I will be checking out her books.

This novella is Leigh and Nick’s story. Leigh wants a fun summer before starting her new job in the city. However Leigh is hiding a secret from everyone. On her way to the Hamptons she helps an old man in need and this is when she meets Nick who is the old man’s grandson. Leigh and Nick quickly become close friends and Leigh share’s her secret with Nick and the pair start to become more than friends but there romance continue when Leigh’s secret becomes public?

As with the other novella’s this is a short, sexy read. The relationship with Nick and Leigh is more slow build than the others. I loved Nick grandad’s character he added great humour to story. Again as with the other I would love more of their story.

Overall a great sweet , sexy , short romance read.

Summer Sins by Jennifer Probst

This book is part of a 3 book novella series entitled Hot in the Hamptons where three best friends are planning on spending the summer together before getting married or starting new jobs.

This was the final book I read in the series and I have to say it was my favourite of the series. It’s the story of Storme and Holden. Holden wants to enjoy the summer before starting a job for the summer which is when he meets Storme. There is an instant connection and strong chemistry but one problem- Storme is engaged to get married at the end of the summer. Storme has always been the perfect daughter but Storme is having doubts about her wedding so will she take the chance this summer to explore something more with Holden.

I loved the bad boy vibe that Holden had and their chemistry is great. This book also has plenty of angst. Overall it’s a hot sexy read which would be perfect for a beach read or spending an afternoon in the garden reading. I would highly recommend read this whole series.
