He makes my mouth water and my body burn.

Trouble...that’s what he is.

Now my house has been blown up and we’re on the run.

My name is Victoria “Tori” Gracen ̶ high school senior ̶ currently the mobs most wanted.

My Review

This is Christine Besze’s first new adult book and also my first book that I read by this author.

This book is about Tori who is just about to turn 18 when she finds out her whole life that she thought is knew has been lie and when the truth is exposed what follows is a whole lots of trouble  for Tori. I can’t really say too much about the plot without giving it away. All I will say is that there was lots of twists and turns and I was kept hooked throughout the story. Not only is it a romance story but also there is plenty of drama and action thrown.

I loved Tori’s  character throughout, she was strong and feisty and I loved the chemistry between Tori and Theo. However I did think that Tori at times was a little acceptable of what Theo was telling her in the second half of the book. I would have thought she would have had more questions and wanted answers. As well as lots of action scenes there was plenty of hot and steamy moments between Tori and Theo and as I said some of the banter and chemistry between  them was great.

The story is very well written and flows really well. Once I started it I wanted keep reading to see what happened next. The secondary characters were also great as Tori’s and Theo’s friends and I was pleased to see that the author had included a snippet of Dani and Jeromy’s story which I look forward to reading.

Overall a hot, sexy action packed read.

*I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
